IDEA: Weigh your bird with the pocket scale.

I bought it on eBay around AU$10.

Charlie is my first bird pet and I’ve learnt so much about cockatiels through books, avian vets and the experienced bird owners. Watching bird’s weight is very important to find out early sign of their illness because they tend to hide it when they are sick.
Charlie is small built and I was told by my avian vet that “Carlie is skinny he needs to put more weight on” it was my first visit to the avian vet. Since then I weigh Charlie at least twice a day. Make sure he eats more (my invention, the mobile bird feeder was for Charlie to eat more), I purchased a pocket scale which usually uses for jewellery. I made a simple T-stand from the wood I picked up from the park (washed it thoroughly), I carry the set with me in my bag and weigh him. I got the normal kitchen scale to weigh him but this is the very handy tool.
