Practice, practice, practice!
Before trying it on your bird I would like you to visualise the whole procedure and practice it many times with a dummy until you get the confidence.

How to hold your bird.
Stretch the elastic wide enough to get your bird’s head through it without being bitten.
Slide a bead right up to the back of neck.
Once the bird’s head is through the elastic ring, you need to quickly slide a bead right up to the back of neck to secure it. otherwise the wings can be caught in the elastic and you and your bird will become stressed. You don’t need to worry about whether you choke your bird or not. You won’t. The bird’s neck is so skinny and the hole won’t close completely.
Stick the left side first.
Stick the right side.
Release the clip.
It’s all done!
If you and your bird get used to the procedure, it won’t take more than 10 seconds to get it done.
